Tour #3 – The Magic of Water and Spiritual Devotion

Duration: total of about 4 hours including a 1,5 hours-long Boat Trip on the River (Ticket Needed).
Snack at the End of the Tour at the “Chiosco del Mincio”.
This mtb tour guide tour takes place on a flat ground leaving from the “Chiosco del Mincio” and heading south through low traffic paved roads, Goito’s bikeway and some unpaved roads.
Riding on the bikeway to the Sacca locality to admire the century-old Oak tree we then continue on an unpaved road along the river to arrive at Corte Bell’acqua (Bell’acqua courtyard).
Continuing the tour onto municipal paved roads we’ll arrive in Rivalta sul Mincio from where, onto a piece of the bikeway, we’ll arrive to the village of Grazie where we’ll visit the Church and Sanctuary dedicated to the Lady of Graces (erected in 1398), an important destination for Christian pilgrims and location of the annual painting contest of the “Madonnari”.
Back on our bikes, leaving behind the Church of the legendary crocodile and the wooden statues, we return to Rivalta sul Mincio to embark (at additional cost) on the boats of “Navigazione Mincio”: their professional boatmen will take us on a tour through the natural Preserve “Valli del Mincio” ending with the view of the skyline of Mantova.
OUR MAIN DESTINATION: Experiencing the Mincio River by Boat.
A traditional slow boat trip through the many natural canals of the northern part of the lake; reeds, water lilies and rare birds will turn the trip into an experience!
Back in Rivalta sul Mincio we get back on our bikes we make our way back to the “Chiosco del Mincio” in Goito for our end-of-tour snack.
